Probabilistic risk assessment of pesticides under future agricultural and climate scenarios using a bayesian network

چکیده
The use of Bayesian networks (BN) for environmental risk assessment has increased in recent years as they offer a more transparent way to characterize and evaluate uncertainty than the traditional paradigms. In this study, novel probabilistic approach applying BN calculation was further developed explored by linking quotient alternative future scenarios. This extended version model uses predictions from process-based pesticide exposure (World Integrated System Pesticide Exposure - WISPE) characterization toxicity test data effect characterization. probability distributions are combined into (i.e. distribution quotient), common measure exceedance an environmentally safe threshold. used account variabilities predicted agricultural streams, inter-species variability sensitivity among freshwater species. Northern Europe, climate scenarios typically predict temperature precipitation, which can be expected cause increase weed infestations, plant disease insect pests. Such climate-related changes pest pressure turn give rise altered practices, such application rates, adaptation change. data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Modeling Current and Future Potential Distributions of Caspian Pond Turtle (Mauremys caspica) under Climate Change Scenarios
Although turtles are the most threatened taxonomic group within the reptile class, we have a very limited understanding of how turtles respond to climate change. Here, we evaluated the effects of climate changes on the geographical distribution of Caspian pond turtle (Mauremys caspica). We used an ensemble approach by combining six species distribution models including artificial neural network...
متن کاملOn-farm Risk Assessment of Agricultural Pesticides
UK Government policy is seeking to optimise agricultural pesticide use and encourage the adoption of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques. An integral part of IPM is selecting pesticides that are likely to pose the least environmental risk. Environmental risk assessment is a highly technical process and is heavily data dependant making a scientifically sound approach on-farm unrealistic ...
متن کاملStudy of Current and Future Meteorological Drought Conditions using the CMIP5 Model Under RCP scenarios
Reducing or increasing the climate parameters such as temperature and rainfall as a result of the climate change process, causes a variety of droughts. In this study, the effect of climate change on meteorological drought in Yazd province is investigated. For this purpose, the drought time series were determined in two historical periods (1961-2005) and the future (2017-2100) by SPI and SPEI. H...

T his research is an attempt to determine the agronomic plan, shadow price and final value with an emphasis on optimization of water use in five main agricultural regions of Kerman province (Kerman, Baft, Bardsir, Bam, and Jiroft) and five crops (wheat, barley, potato, onion, and tomato). Analysis was based on three scenarios: (i) current planting conditions, (ii) profit maximization...
